- Thirty-six new members

DESIGN:
- Completion of Broad Street Plaza
- Developed short-term projects and long-term projects for next five years to present to Coordination Committee
- Presented Preservation Ordinance to City Council for approval
 
 
ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING:
- Provide support to existing downtown business

- Downtown Farmer's Market Fourth Successful year
- Held 2nd Annual Art Fair
- Held 2nd Annual Pumpkin Roll
- Developed new shopping guide
- Promoted MainStreet activities in surrounding areas through shopper's guide, flyers, poster, and signage
- Developed e-mail communication with downtown businesses
- Advertised downtown in local newspaper, lake magazine, and television
- Partnered with Alex City Outlook to have articles on activities and progress in downtown
- Monthly article in Lake Martin Living Magazine
- Coordinated Christmas Decorations for Downtown and Cherokee Road

- The Shoppes of Queen's Attic opens with five businesses
- The Body Shop moved to downtown
- Artiques opened with High Cotton Custom Framing
- Dadix opens in downtown
